Paytm, an Indian financial technology and e-commerce payment system company has changed the name of its Twitter account

It is understandable that Paytm took this step after being challenged by a Twitter account called Gabbar. This tweet has been pinned at the top with the comment “Done” from Paytm.

What is binod?

This word called Binod has emerged on social media. #Binod is one of the top trends in India on Twitter. Over 50k have been tweeted about this.

The term began with a video posted by the Slayy Point YouTube channel. In this video, Abhyudaya introduces and Gautami thought they would see the comment section of Indian YouTube channels.

In this video created by the channel titled “Why Indians comment section is Garbage (Binod)“, they started reading the strange comments from the comment section. One of these comments was ‘Binod’ and it was posted by a user named Binod Tharu.

The Slayy Point video went viral all over the internet and many Indian YouTubers noted that Binod has been posted in many places in their comment section too.

And now everyone started are posting funny memes about this.

“Paytm” to “Binod”

After one of the tweets by a netizen named “Gabbbar”, challenging twitter in a comment saying, “@Paytm Can you change your name to Binod? Be a sport. C’mon.” Paytm took it as a challenge and changed its Twitter name.
