Vanessa Bryant shares photo of Lakers’ ‘Black Mamba’ Jersey, 8/24 – Will forever be Kobe Bryant Day

Last week, it was announced that August 24 (i.e 8/24) will forever be Kobe Bryant Day in Orange County, California.

“A treasured member of our Orange County community, Kobe Bryant was the basketball legend who inspired so many young men and women to pursue their dreams and never give up,” said Chairman of the Board of Supervisors Michelle Steel, according to CNN.

“I propose that August 24 be dedicated to the memory of Kobe Bryant and all that he brought to the Orange County community,” he continued.

Vanessa, 38, had been married to Kobe since 2001. In addition to Gianna, they had daughters Natalia, 17, Bianka, 3, and Capri, 1-year-old.
