The Mountain View tech giant ruling the internet world since 1998 started introducing its smartphones named Pixel in Oct 2016. The first-gen Pixel phone was launched with its bigger brother Pixel XL. Both these phones’ camera was ranked as the best camera in a smartphone with a score of 90 by DxOMark.
Pixel series
Ever since the release of Pixel, the Mountain view company started announcing a new Pixel smartphone every year. On Oct 2017 Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were released followed by Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL on Oct 2018. All these phones were a huge hit considering unlimited storage for photos, better cameras, and pure Android experience. Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL were launched last year which is to be noted.
‘a’ series of Google Pixel
The first smartphones to be released under this category were Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL which were budget-friendly than Pixel 3 series devices. These only differ in the processor and screen size but had all other features of the Pixel 3 series.
Pixel 4a
Google’s Pixel 4a which is to be launched tomorrow has been leaked in whole by a tipster @samsungbloat. You could watch the live event here. The specs of the device follow:
Two devices to be launched tomorrow – one with LTE and another with 5g support. These are said to have 6gb RAM, 128gb internal costing around $349 (LTE), and $499 (5g which is expected to launch with Pixel 5 series on Oct 2020). It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G featuring a 19.5:9 OLED display with a Punch-hole FullHD+ resolution 5.81” display. It also has the Titan M Security module and supports up to 4K 30FPS recording. It also has 18W fast charging support and hopes Google packs charger on the box 😊.
