Just after two days of beginning the Dream11 IPL 2020, we have witnessed a super over in yesterday’s match between DC and KXIP. We are on the 3rd day of the IPL 2020. Today is a South-Indian rival between SRH and RCB.
SRH vs RCB: A South-Indian rival

A rival that isn’t sound on verbal volleys between fans, but between players, there is some competition going every year. Right from the 2016 final of IPL, there is some good contest between these two teams. Some thrillers and some upsets were part of this clash.
SRH has the edge over RCB and has the head to head of 8-6. Since 2018, each teams has won 2 matches. There has never been a season with one team dominating the other completely.
Considering RCB, they are the one team which looks the strongest on paper right from the 1st season, but unfortunately in the 12 seasons they played they have qualified for 3 finals and never won any. But their loyal fans still have the hope, that their team will win a title for them.
Their problems with all the seasons they have played so far is their team is over-dependant on the duo Virat and AB. Also, they never had a good death bowler who can restrict the opponent. This season they have some answers for that by buying Chris Morris and Aaron Finch. With Dale Steyn already in their team, Morris would be a good addition to their bowling attack.
On the other side, SRH has never looked strong on the paper, but they have won a season beating RCB at 2016 and finishing runners up at 2018 losing against CSK. SRH has announced that David Warner will be leading their side this time after 2 seasons.
Stats and Strategy to look for
The duo of Ab and Virat is one of the toughest to bowl against, but both these batsmen are susceptible to legspin especially their googlies. With Rashid Khan on the other waiting at the bowlers end, will this end up in a good contest is the question. Well we will get the answer for this tonight.
Rashid Khan has an incredible economy of 5.6 in UAE which would be a threat for any teams with the tournament progresses.
Ab de Villiers is 3 short of 400 sixes in T20s and we are sure he will reach this feat tonight. But his partner Virat Kohli averages just 17.5 against SRH with a Strike Rate of 121. With RCB’s chances of winning, it lies heavily on AB and Virat and surely they will fire tonight.
